BlaqBerry is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our growing team. This brand-new role is central to driving our growth and expanding our client portfolio. You will lead the charge in identifying, engaging, and closing high-value opportunities across industries, with a strong focus on selling digital marketing, branding, web development, and training solutions. We are particularly seeking someone with a marketing background or agency experience, enabling you to speak the language of our creative, strategy, and technical teams, and to confidently demonstrate the value of our solutions to clients. This role combines strategic sales leadership with the ability to understand and position marketing services as high-impact business drivers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and target prospective clients through research, networking, and industry events.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitch to negotiation and closing.
Consultative Marketing-Driven Selling
- Leverage your marketing knowledge to conduct in-depth client discovery.
- Align BlaqBerry’s services with client business objectives, demonstrating measurable ROI.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on brand positioning, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across our service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional client experiences.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and development teams to shape tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates in CRM.
- Provide market feedback to leadership to inform service positioning and competitive strategy.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email marketing).
- Understanding of brand positioning and creative development processes.
- Ability to explain complex marketing concepts in clear, business-focused language.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
Professional Skills
- Proven track record in B2B sales within digital marketing, branding, advertising, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand strategy, and campaign execution.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify client needs and align them with business solutions.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of experience in a senior-level sales role, preferably within a marketing or branding agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (advantageous).
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
